We made several updates across the website to reflect our current menu, pricing, seasonal flavors, and fall hours. Including adding this page!
Homepage
- Replaced the Jolly Rancher Blue Raspberry and Pineapple seasonal feature with our returning Pumpkin Pie and Apple Pie Snowstorms.
- Updated our fall closing hours now that school is back in session: Lobby closes at 8:30 PM, Drive-thru closes at 9:00 PM
- Removed the LinkedIn button. We don’t actively use LinkedIn, and we’d rather keep the platforms we link to current instead of adding another page to maintain.
Menu
- Simplified Flavorburst pricing. Instead of different price increases depending on the item, Flavorburst is now a consistent +$0.50 compared with regular ice cream.
- Changed all references from “sherbet” to “sorbet.” A kind customer reached out to us about dairy-free options and pointed out that sherbet typically contains a small amount of dairy. Since ours contains no dairy, sorbet is the more accurate description.
- Added Caramel Apple, Banana Creme Pie, and Popin’ Cotton Candy to the Snowstorm recipe list.
- Added Biscoff to the available Snowstorm ingredients.
- Reduced the price of adding whipped cream to a basic sundae from $1.25 to $0.75.
- Added bold formatting throughout the Specialty Sundaes section to make sizes and options easier to read.
- Adjusted Slush prices so each size is now consistently $2 less than the corresponding Whip size. This resulted in Slush prices increasing, which also helps account for increased syrup costs. Sorry :(
- Added the $1.50 extra-ingredient charge to the Smoothies section.
- Added the available Slush flavors as flavor options for Frozen Lemonades.
- Removed separate Flavorburst pricing from the Novelties section since the standard +$0.50 Flavorburst rule now applies there as well.
- Bolded every other menu tip at the bottom of the Novelties section to make the tips easier to visually separate.
- Added a clarification that our ice cream cakes do not contain traditional baked cake.
About Page
- Replaced the temporary product photos we had been using since last winter with actual photos of our own products for the Peanut Butter Overload Sundae and Caramel Apple Sundae.
- Updated our fall closing hours now that school is back in session: Lobby closes at 8:30 PM, Drive-thru closes at 9:00 PM
I also cleaned up a few small wording and formatting details while making these updates.
